Disney despatched a cease-and-desist letter to Google on Wednesday, alleging that the tech big has infringed on its copyrights, Selection studies.

Disney is accusing the tech big of copyright infringement on a “large scale,” claiming it has used AI fashions and companies to commercially distribute unauthorized pictures and movies, in response to the letter seen by Selection.

The letter alleges that Google’s AI programs infringe characters from “Frozen,” “The Lion King,” “Moana,” “The Little Mermaid,” “Deadpool,” and extra.” Google didn’t reply to Trendster’s request for remark.

The transfer comes the identical day that Disney signed a $1 billion, three-year take care of OpenAI that may carry its iconic characters to the corporate’s Sora AI video generator.
